I’ve written four traditionally published novels for young adult readers and one work of historical fiction for adults (out with Crown in Sept. 2026). I’m also the co-author of a picture-book. And I love teaching.

I’ve taught writing courses at Hugo House, the Society of Young Inklings, and in public libraries across Washington State. My Plot Mechanics course was developed for the King County Library System. I’ve also seen several writers successfully through the querying process.

  • $300. As a young writer, plot was my greatest weakness. Now, it’s my greatest strength. Let me talk you through the mechanics that changed writing for me forever. This is the knowledge I most credit for my career today. 1-hour long Zoom conversation. Follow ups and outline reads available on request.

  • $300. There’s nothing more important than learning how to write a good pitch. Whether you’re pitching the book to yourself before you’ve written it, or are looking to sharpen your WIP by getting to the crux of it, or ready to pitch agents and editors, let’s talk. One-hour Zoom lesson with follow-up by request.
