Editorial Services for Your Work-in-Progress

Dear Writer,

I’ve written four traditionally published novels for young adult readers and one work of historical fiction for adults (out with Crown in Sept. 2026). I’m also the co-author of a picture-book. And I love teaching.

I’ve taught writing courses at Hugo House, the Society of Young Inklings, and in public libraries across Washington State. My Plot Mechanics course was developed for the King County Library System. I’ve also seen several writers successfully through the querying process.

Need a manuscript read? Querying advice? Developmental edits? Someone to complain about writing with (mostly a joke, but it IS about as hard as it gets)?

If so, I’d love to meet you.

Free consultations available.

Sincerely,

Kelly

I write historical fiction, horror, young adult fiction, speculative literary fiction, and personal essays. However, I’ve edited memoirs, middle-grade titles, romance titles, and more.

I’m fluent in Save the Cat and other plot and outline schemas, and I’ve taught novel writing courses at public libraries here in Seattle and at Hugo House. Schedule a free consultation to see if we’re a match.
